How to choose the right cylinder and mortise size for your door?

Cylinder length (A / B)
Measure from the centre of the fixing screw to the outer door face (A) and the inner face (B). Common sizes: 35/35, 40/30, 45/45 mm.

Mortise depth (Backset)
The distance from the door edge to the centre of the cylinder hole. Wooden doors usually use 45-50 mm and armored doors 60-70 mm.

Leaf thickness & handing
Note the total door thickness and opening direction (left or right). Every IMEX mortise has an easily reversible latch.
